When producing branded racks, we have repeatedly encountered the requirement by customers to provide quick and easy replacement of the advertising panels of the rack. It must be so quick and easy, so that “any merchandiser-girl with long nails could come up and voila... it is all done!” Of course, the customer’s requirement is the law for us, but it is not everywhere that they can be implemented.
We decided to think about the idea of “universal branding”. We implemented it using a monitor. Now this girl just needs to turn on the monitor and load the required video from the flash drive. Further additional functions came on their own – we thought about how to load the advertising content not on each individual rack, but do it centralized, from the office. Admittedly, it is very convenient when there are several such racks at different outlets. We have implemented a feature to control from the office the number of buyers interested in the goods on the shelves, as well as the amount of goods on the shelves. Again, an unusual look for a standard metal rack, attracts attention on its own.
