What do you do in a crisis situation, when there is not enough money to develop shops, but you still need to surprise-attract-please your customer? Otherwise, there is no way to survive. My answer is – improvise!
Concept stores with interesting commercial equipment, of course, look more attractive for shopping. The point is how to manage this with minimal investment. Our friends from Ustor found the answer. They decided to make cost-efficient authentic brand racks, while we in the Iyul (July) decor workshop developed a system of decorative elements from available materials in order to implement their idea.
We took basic quality rack from Ustor as base unit and built an evolutionary timeline, incrementally adding decorative elements made of PVC, composite polystyrene or flanged board (material combinations can vary) according to the scheme: base rack + fascia, base rack + fascia + price tags, base rack + fascia + price tags + side pieces, etc.
As a result, the retail chain owner can choose the option pack of furnishing the rack with decorations, which is more suitable and, what is especially important now, which is affordable. We hope that such solutions can be interesting and heaven-sent for stores of different specializations: cosmetics, books, tools, products ... So far we have developed two rack decorations lines, which will help to create conceptual stores of dishes and of pet supplies.
See results in below examples of developments for utensil stores. The rest is available on the Ustor site , and more will be added.
Step one. Take a classic rack and decorate the top. Hang the PVC fascia of the regular rectangular shape.
Step two. We give the fascia a more complex shape, we start getting closer to styling the racks as a kitchen cupboard. In this case, we make the fascia from polystyrene.
Step three. Complicate the situation by adding shaped price tags and side pieces.
Step four. Add boxes for storage (wood chipboard) at the bottom and decorate their front surfaces with polystyrene trim plates. In this configuration, the rack looks quite like a full-fledged cupboard.
Step 5. Additional shelves for dishes come at the top of the rack. Now this is no longer a rack, but a cupboard with a capital C. The test model has already been developed, we are checking the market reaction. Should work! We await!
